Asia Cup 2018 Schedule, Squad, Team and Live Streaming

After two years, The battle for Asian cricket championship will start from 15 September 2018. The most important thing in this tournament is that Pakistan will face India on 19th September in UAE. The Green Shirt and Blue Shirts play match after final of Champion trophy 2017. This battle is increasing heartbeats of cricket fans in sub-continent. At the ground of United Arab Emirates Pakistan has an advantage because Pakistan cricket team is playing in UAE as his home ground. Moreover, India did not play any match in the United Arab Emirafornce last ten years. So, India will face difficulty in their conditions and another bad thing for India is that India will play two consecutive against qualifier and Pakistan in his group match.

Asia Cup 2018 teams and format  :

Asia Cup 2018 will play in one-day cricket format (50-50 overs) because last Asia cup was played in the shortest format of cricket in T20 format. In this Asia cup 2018 six teams are participating which are following:

• ·        Pakistan
• ·        Sri Lanka
• ·        India
• ·        Bangladesh
• ·        Afghanistan
• ·        Qualifier team* (Hong Kong)

The cricket teams which playing qualifier round are UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nepal, Malaysia, and Oman. The Qualifier round is started from August 29 and it will end on 6 September 2018. The most favorite team which has more chance to qualify is United Arab Emirates cricket team.

Now Hong Kong Qualified for this event. In final of qualifier round, Hong Kong beat UAE and confirmed his position in Group A where Hong Kong will face Pakistan and India. This is will be the toughest for Hong Kong.

Asia Cup 2018 Schedule and Team group:

This battle tournament opening match will be played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on 15 September 2018. There are two groups in this event.

• ·        Group B: Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka

• ·        Group A: India, Pakistan, Hong Kong

The schedule of Asia cup 2018 is following

      

1.     15 September Sri lanka Vs Bangladesh in Dubai

2.     16 September Pakistan vs Qualifier in Dubai

3.     17 September Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi

4.     18 September India vs Qualifier in Dubai.

5.     19 September India vs Pakistan in Dubai.

6.     20 September Bangladesh vs Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi

Semi-Final and Final :

• 21 September Group A  Winners  vs Group B 2nd position team in Dubai
• 21 September Group B   Winners vs Group A 2nd position team in Abu Dhabi.
• 23 September Group A Winners vs Group A2nd position team in Dubai
• 23 September Group B Winners vs Group B 2nd position team in Abu Dhabi
• 25 September Group A Winners vs Group B Winners in Dubai
• 26  September Group A 2nd position team vs Group B 2nd position team in Abu Dhabi

The final match of Asia Cup 2018 will be played on 28 September 2018 and more chances are that may be a final match will play Pakistan Vs India.

 India Squad for ACC 2018 :

Indian National selector on 1 September 2018 announced 16 member squad for upcoming Asia cup which will be played in UAE. I am shocked to hear that Virat Kohli will not part of the squad. National Selector is taking rest Kohli for this tournament. In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma will lead India cricket team in Asia cup 2018. Shikar Dhawan announced as a vice-captain of Indian cricket team.

Indian Selector decided to give chance to Khaleel Ahmed who is 20 years old from Rajasthan. Kedar Jadhav is back to Indian squad after injury in IPL 2018. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also announced for the squad after his lower- back injury. This is a good Sign for India.

Pakistan Squad for ACC 2018:

Pakistan is not yet officially announced 16 player squad for Asia cup 2018. Pakistan National Selector sent 26 players for training camp. After the discussion with Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed 18 player is selected for training camp squad which consists of Sarfraz Ahmed (skipper), Shadab Khan,Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz ,Imad Wasim,Faheem Ashraf Imam-ul-Haq, Shan Masood, Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik,Haris Sohail, Hassan Ali, Usman Khan Shinwari, Mohammad Amir, Junaid Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi,  Asif Ali.

Shan Masood is back in the squad because Ahmed Shahzad is banned for six months. Mohammad Hafeez is also part of the squad. But it is mostly chance that Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Sohail will not part of official 16 members squad. Because Imad Wasim after the injury he is not doing so well, Pakistan has already 5 to 6 fast bowler so Shaheen may be not part and Haris Sohail has fitness issued.

As you suggest the above paragraph, they did the same. Imad Wasim did not select because he could not pass a fitness test and Muhammad Hafeez also did not pass fitness. That is why these two players will not play Asia cup 2018. The interesting thing is that Shaheen Shah Afridi will debut in Asia Cup 2018. The 16 members squad of Pakistan is below :
